The Tyler Transit app has recently expanded its offerings to include two key services, enhancing the public transportation options available to residents of Tyler.

• Microtransit: Tyler's first on-demand Microtransit route, designated Route 12, is now operational in South Tyler. This service is designed to complement existing fixed route options. Riders can easily book a ride through the app or by calling Tyler Transit at (903) 533-8057. The Microtransit service provides direct transportation to destinations within three-tenths of a mile from the nearest bus stop along Route 12. Pricing aligns with the current rates for Fixed Route operations.
• Paratransit: The paratransit service offers a shared-ride system that is structured to accommodate multiple passengers, maximizing efficiency in transporting individuals to their desired locations. This service provides origin-to-destination transportation throughout the city of Tyler. Additionally, trained drivers are available to assist passengers during boarding and exiting, ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience.
